I'm not Lee Ming (It's OK), 2009
40" x 50"

About my attempts to find Lee Ming, the semi-fictitious stranger who had a premonition of my death in the mountains of Taiwan.

According to Lee, someone with my name and complexion saved her (or him) from a band of murderers at the expense of his (my) own life. As I lay dying in her arms, I wrote my name in blood on the palm of her hand: Seth.

I traveled to Taipei to interview multiple Lee Mings and to create a video re-enactment of the dream.

From a residency at Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts.
